So I'm spending some time with Kutiman again and thought I'd pass him on.

This super creative musician makes music videos by using notes of various instruments by pulling together all sorts of video to simulate a band. A lot of it comes from simple training videos, but others come from live performances, personal videos and basically anything he can find.

It's a real trip.

Kutiman:

I suggest going through all of his videos. Without a doubt, the most creative thing I've seen on youtube.

Do you mean Steve Gadd or one of the others? I'll have to check.

But first I'm going to listen to aja, since you gave me an earworm by just mentioning it. It's such a fine album.

The drummer is Bernard Purdie and he plays on the song 'Home At Last' on the vid.

I really liked this whole Classic Albums series. I think Anthem to Beauty was part of it. Here is 'Home At Last'. Begins at the 8:00 mark.

He also played on Deacon Blues, Aja, Black Cow & Peg.
